How do I start?
Call or email us and we’ll be in touch within 24 – 48 hours. We’ll set up a time for either Matt or Dave to meet you in your home to discuss your project. We listen, assess, and make recommendations based on your needs and desires. We take in all the details, discuss time frames, budget and determine what changes or updates would work best for you, your family’s lifestyle and your home. Exciting!
Then, depending on the scope of work, we will have preliminary plans drawn up and projected costs. We’ll meet to review them with you and provide you with a proposal and timeline.
Do I need to hire an engineer or architect? What about plumbers, electricians or an interior designer?
We offer a complete design and build service — concept to completion. We have built a trusted team of professionals and sub-trades and have a wide network of suppliers. We work with them regularly. If city permits are required, we handle that, too. When it comes time to pick out your new kitchen cabinets, bathroom fixtures, paint colour, flooring, we refer you to our vetted professionals who will guide you through the selection process. We can also refer you to an interior designer in our network, or collaborate with yours.
How long will it take?
How long the job takes will depend on the scope of work. We do provide you with a timeline. Getting the job done on time for you is important to us. We communicate regularly so that you know what’s happening next. Project management and handling multiple shifting priorities and details is our strength. We take pride in that.
How messy will it be?
Each member of our team is meticulous in their work habits and ensures a clean and safe work area throughout the entire work process. During some renovations, it is necessary to have a dumpster on your property for a period of time during a demolition phase. We organize this and have it removed expediently. Our team has “end-of-the-day” cleaning habits that respect your home as our own.
Are you insured?
We are licensed, insured, and our workers are covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
